insomnia will be the death of me. I wish it was a new thing, but no, it stems from childhood as well. I recall my mother giving me a pill in a cup of water to help me sleep. and when I finished the water the pill was all mushy at the bottom, not fully dissolved.
it's the racing thoughts that get me. I didn't go to bed last night til six thirty in the morning til one twenty in the afternoon, and that was with the help of xanax from mother. otherwish I wouldn't have slept at all. and here it is, two in the morning and I have been trying since one to sleep. will this haunt me forever? are meds the only solution?
oh how I miss risperdal at times like these. falling asleep every night at eleven, sleeping the whole night through, waking at eight refreshed.
but I can't go back to that.
lately I've been noticing more ocd-like traits that are worrying me. at the bus stop i'll count my change (90 cents) over and over and over again. I'm horrible with coins. the more of them there are, the worse it is. i had nine dimes and i kept counting them. but when the bus pulled in front of me I panicked and put them away and gave him a dollar instead.
i also check the time every minute or so.
it's really hard being a cashier lately, cause of the fucking coins.
it can only get worse.
man am i tired.
here i should be telling y'all about the awesome concert (yeah yeah yeahs) i went to but no, i'm stuck in this muck.

I am finally (it's long overdue) seeing the Dresden Dolls. at the orpheum theater.
I'd rather it be at a small club but their annual halloween show is at the avalon so I can always wait.
I'm up in the balcony, so at least I'll be able to see.
the tickets were more than I wanted to spend and they went fast, but I'm sure it will be worth it.
and I can finally get a dresden dolls shirt.

so I got a stomach virus on friday. missed 2 days of work. didn't eat at all for 2 days. didn't even feel the need. haven't puked in over a decade so I didn't do that though I did want to.
hopefully I can make it into work tomorrow but I don't want to.

yes I am a working stiff now. just like everyone else. my body aches, but the pay is fine.
so I come home to a drunk mother (what else is new). only this time she's depressed and I can see it before she says it.
she tells me the cancer is back. I don't know what to believe. it's come and gone so many times. I just don't know. I was depressed all summer because of it. then it went. now it's back. I'll just wait and see.
as of this moment I just want her to go to bed, cause cancer or not, when she is drunk she makes me want to kill myself. I've put up with it too much in my lifetime. I need to get my own place. I can't even talk to her cause everything I say she twists and disagrees and tells me that I have no clue.
whatfuckingever. is peace too much to ask for?
most likely (with my luck) I'll get the big C as well. I try not to think about it. I just live for the day and that's all I can do.
this photog wanted to do a shoot tomorrow but I haven't heard from him, so I'm gonna try and go for sunday. cause tomorrow will be all last minute. but he's gonna pick me (and jeff) up and pay for train fare home. and any excuse to go to boston is a good one.
I am tired in so many ways. but I got to fight the good fight and earn every breath I take. that's the way it's always been, and I am quite acquainted with it.

god I am never around.
first day of work tomorrow. fucking disgusting.
setting up modeling for march/april, which is gonna pay some nice money. which will go towards my next tattoo, which will most likely be of bettie page (what a surprise)
not sleeping so well lately, i feel fuzzified.
all in all I am well, I am trying to focus on making my life worth living, and amazingly, it's working.
I really do need to save up for a place, living with my mom is just annoying. she never shuts up, I'm just a quiet person, it's tiring.
been getting a lot of stress headaches lately, and I've never really had headaches. but now they just pound and pound until I want to scream. I still have one lingering now from over four hours ago.
I must send out the rest of my valentines, I've been putting everything off.
it has not been a new england winter lately, it's been so fucking warm. too surreal. it's finally catching up with us though, it's freezing now. and I have to wait around at bus stops tomorrow. but not at central square. that place is just a mess. derelicts and hoodlums and crazy busses that drive away too quickly.
fucking Lynn man. this city is a madness all its own.

I got to hear his voice today...the whole unexpectedness of it was a warm rush to my head. when my dad answered the phone it seemed like it was for him, and when he said "do you want to talk to her?" I figured it was my nana. but when I said hello and HIS voice oozed into my ear, I nearly fell into a lapse of tears.
oh I got the blues bad baby.
I might have a modeling job on Wednesday. It will be my first. I'm nervous just due to the fact that it's some stranger and I'm afraid but fuck...if bettie page was afraid of men she would have never become who she is. I have to grab this fucking opportunity and build up my portfolio. I told Jeff and he was kinda nervous about it. I need to talk to my dad about it, he might be harder to convince.
oh this haze I'm absorbed in, will it ever dissipate?
